Monica MacCarroll is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in South Carolina and Georgia. She is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.

Monica studied Classical Chinese Medicine at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC, under Jeffrey Yuen, and received her master’s degree in Classical Chinese Medicine. Her training included acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, nutritional therapy, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Qi Gong, and the therapeutic use of essential oils. She is also a reiki practitioner and with patient permission performs reiki with her acupuncture treatments. Since her graduation in May, 2016, Monica has gained even more experience treating a variety of conditions including fertility/women’s health, digestive disorders, psycho-emotional issues, preventative medicine, cosmetic acupuncture and overall health maintenance and stress relief.
